Let 1/2 lb. dry pinto or black beans soak in 3-4 cups cold water overnight.
After soaking, drain & rinse.
In large saucepan, cook beans in 4 cups water until tender.
Drain and reserve beans with 1/2 cup liquid.
In medium skillet, heat 1 teaspoon corn oil and add beans.
Mash the beans using MACHACADOR until desired paste texture.
Add & cook with 1 small chopped onion, and salt & pepper to taste.
Enjoy with warm tortillas and cheese, serve with your favorite chips, or as a side to your favorite dish.
